Where Can I Report an Internet Forum?

Where do I begin. Recently, I found out that I was permanently banned from this forum site without any indication of it. But this isn’t my problem. You see the bulletin said this message " We are tired of your trolling, and bitch-fighting the site is not for you go find somewhere else". Well that is the best of what my memory serves.

Now my problem is that I never once trolled nor attempted to start a fight. I simply gave my opinion on the thread we were discussing, and replied to some comments made at me in a calm (and as possible respectful) manor. And yet they said I was trying to start a fight and trolling?? Now really that is just ridiculous. A few of the users there hated me because I gave some criticism to a translator there, but that is no valid cause for trying to ban me. So the more I look at it the more I think that it is abuse of power from a moderator there. A friend of mine found one of my old discussions and yes she was right about the users flaming me for no reason all because of simply criticism… So if I was banned for this false accusation then they should be to right? Nope. Whoever it was neglected to do so…

So this is really leaving me in a confusion. So I was banned for false accusations of trolling and trying to start a fight when this was not true, and yet here are these users who were trying to start a fight with me and broke several rules and didn’t get punished. Hm.. more proof of abuse in power here.

Another thing is the reputation on there. I asked a mod about it months ago before this childish incident accrued with no reply back, so I had to bother asking another user, ending up getting into a wits battle. Not flame war or whatever the heck it they call it. My guess is that some of the sensitive users (who already hated me) continued to leave a bad reputation that help lead up to this event.

‘sighs’ So really I keep seeing poor staff management left and right, and abuse and false accusations everywhere. I already complained to the administrator twice now, and yet to receive a responce (still waiting by the way) and contacted the same mod that I contacted with the reputation program. But I fear that I will have to report the site, and I want to know where I can do this.

I know I can just make another account, but it ticks me off to know whoever did this gets away without proper punishment. Oh and a thing I am forgetting to mention is that the ban limit was perminate… Which is a little much seeing as I did none of the things it was accusing me of. The only real crime I have is accidentally cursing (I think I may have cursed I am not sure).

So you see my problem. I need to know where I can report an internet forum? I thank you tons for helping me out.

You can’t report an Internet forum. A forum is like a house. If you want to be a guest in someone’s house, you have to follow their rules. If you don’t like their rules, don’t go in their house. Go in someone else’s house or make your own house.

If someone wants to have a forum where they ban people for no reason and even abuse people, they can. And they can’t hurt you, because you can just leave. It’s called freedom. If you don’t like what someone else says or does, you can exercise your freedom to walk away. But you have no right to make them make the forum that you want. They get to make the forum they want, and if it’s not what you want, you get to go elsewhere.

That’s how the Internet works.

And if you think about it, there’s no other way it could work. How could there be one set of rules that works both for a rape crisis counseling forum and a KKK rallying forum?

I suggest you to read out the rules and regulation of every forum before participation there. Some forum moderators are very sensitive about their current participants and if someone(who is new to forum) tries to oppose these special members they bans you without prior reason.References : http://www.host.co.in/forums/faq.php?faq=vb3_board_faq#faq_vb3_board_usage
